TL;DR: Fleenor Landscaping fixed our 1988 “whatever” yard, communicated like professionals, and showed up when they said they would. Five stars. Period. Pros: ✔ Yard now looks intentional ✔ No ghosting, no vanishing acts ✔ Communication that borders on miraculous ✔ Neighbors suddenly “just happening” to walk by Cons: ✖ Now the rest of the house feels insecure Attached photos show various stages of the work from "Befores" all the way through "Afters" with sod installation Full Review: Our house was built in 1988 and is still very much living its truth — think mullet, tight-rolled jeans, the Cold War still happening, MTV actually playing music, big hair energy, and landscaping choices were last reviewed sometime around the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall. After extensive tree removal, done by another company who did exactly what they were supposed to do, our yard looked like it had survived a small natural disaster. We had overgrown shrubs, mulch that looked like it had been there since Reagan was in office, exposed corrugated pipe thanks to tree roots with unchecked ambition, uneven beds and wobbly steppingstones. Honestly, if Generation X was a landscaping design style, we nailed it - AKA “Whatever,” but make it mulch and mild orthopedic risk. Enter Cory and his team. They cleaned up the beds, removed the mulch and replaced it with rock, relocated existing bushes to places that made sense both logically and spiritually, planted new bushes that we genuinely love (after actually consulting with us like professionals), and resurrected two stepping-stone paths around the house so we can walk outside without wondering if today’s the day we roll an ankle or throw our back out. The yard now looks intentional. Like someone actually planned it. Now let’s talk about the most unrealistic feature of this service: communication. Cory told us when he would show up — and then he showed up. On time. In 2025. In this economy. If he was running late? He told us. Proactively. Without being chased. Without us having to send a soul-draining “just checking in 🙂” text. Quality work and clear communication? I don’t know what kind of sorcery this is, but I support it fully. Because of this experience, we are already booked with Cory for spring. I will absolutely continue to support a business that operates with this level of professionalism, integrity, and follow-through. Five stars; Highly recommend. Cory and crew do a terrific job? My yard looks manicured after they have trimmed, mulched, dug up plants, transplanted or just weeded.
